Twitter – me too!
Well i’ve finally decided to start using twitter a few weeks ago. I’m definitely *not* an early adopter (see first tweet), but it’s not too late.
I find it much more convenient to write quick twitter updates, as opposed to long well-thought blog posts.

What’s the main reason to start tweeting? Aren’t you afraid it will be just a time killer?

Hi Dennis,
A lot of people email me wondering where I am, what i’m doing, what i’m working on, etc.
I adopted twitter to allow the “public”, people who follow my blog, coworkers, and anyone else to do just that.
I find Facebook to be more on the “personal” side, and LinkedIn requires too much work to update on a daily basis.
I also use it to follow others, from what I understand that _is_ the main goal of using twitter.
As for wasting time, this can be said of blogs, facebook, and even email. So no I don’t think it’s a time killer, not more than any other social application in existence.
