Jumping through hoops
When looking for a job, the most important thing to have is patience.
In my job search, I only decided to contact 2 companies because they were the only ones who really seemed extremely promising. I waited 2 weeks for an interview at the first place, only to find out there would be another series of interviews in the upcoming weeks. The second place never returned my email although the position is still not filled and i’m the absolute perfect person for it.
I’m guessing my timing is off because it’s vacation time, so I won’t take it to heart. But if anyone is reading this right now, it would be nice if you could get back to me a little quicker, at least to confirm whether or not you’re interested.
On the plus side, I am still receiving a ton of offers for freelance web development so if anyone is looking for some extra gigs, let me know.
