I recently had a few discussions with my friends over at Nerd Studio regarding a possible business partnership. To start, I’ll give you a little background on the situation.

Nerd Studio is a small web design company located in Montreal, Canada. They’ve been in business for almost 3 years and we’ve worked together for the last 5. They are absolutely amazing and the most awesome group of people I’ve ever met and worked with.

After having lunch and a few beers, we’ve realized that we’re pretty much on the same wavelength in regards to the web, business, and availability for our clients.

As some of you might know, I’ve been working hard this last month to launch my own business, and I plan to continue in that direction with Comma Induced. I’ve also been doing a lot of freelance work. In September 2006, I took the leap from employee to freelancer and this new partnership will help ease my transition from freelancer to entrepreneur.

The Nerd Studio team will share their office space with Comma Induced in order to form a new team of superhuman web designers and developers. They will also be an integral part of the design and development of software created by Comma Induced.

I see it like a pool of talent, similar to that created by the guys at Sidebar Creative.
